Opening Day!

Happy Opening Day, bloggers!

I have been waiting for this day ever since the Blackhawks started falling off their rocker by not playing their best anymore, same goes to Illinois actually. But as a Chicago Cubs fan, we've grown pretty accustomed to being disappointed. But we love our team all the same if not more!

Facts about the Chicago Cubs:
--They haven't won a World Series title in 104 years (let's just call the elephant out in the room)
--They were founded in 1870, making them one of the oldest teams (along with the Atlanta Braves) in major North American sports
--The Curse of the Billy Goat is the excuse we all make for why we haven't won a World Series since 1908. But there could be other factors, no one really knows.
--The colors are red, white, and blue! America!
--Harry Caray was one of our most famous broadcasters! Holy Cow!
--There's no better way to watch the game than from the bleachers!
--Their huge rivals are during the Crosstown Classic with the Chicago White Sox. This is the time when the city is extremely divided, nbd.
--The Chicago Cubs has one of the largest fan base out of the MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLS. Anywhere you are in the United States, you will always see a devoted Chicago Cubs fans

Who are you routing for this season?

My best friend Ron and I at the Crosstown Classic last summer!
