Down By The Bay

I was going to write today about my favorite bathing suits - mostly involving the high-waisted type.

Another post for another day!

So with now Blake working nights and weekends now. Pretty much the only person how benefits from this shift change is Collins.

More time with mommy and daddy, less time in his kennel, and lots of snuggles.

Also a bonus - we both have Wednesdays off now so we can actually spend time together more than half an hour every night.

Our usual Wednesday stroll has been going to the dog park. I wanted to go crazy and try a dog beach trip again but Florida Mother Nature had other plans for us.
Lots of cute little pitbulls became Collins new friends.

Then again, there isn't one dog who doesn't want be his friend - he's the big shot in the dog park.

Except for our neighbor dog Walter - I think Collins sniffed at him the wrong way or something.
Living in Florida there is water everywhere and it wouldn't be normal if there wasn't some sort of body of water surrounding the dog park. Then it would just be a regular park.

Collins hated the water when we took him to the beach so I figured the best way for him to get over his fear was to throw him in the water and see what happens.
Clearly that didn't work out to my advantage since there was a sandbar through out the entire bay.
But at least this was the look that was on his face the entire time
Maybe I'll throw him in the bay more often! He certainly loves the water enough.
